Chevron Cylinder Oil W 680, 5 Gallon Pail is a top-of-the-line compounded gear oil used in compressor cylinders and might otherwise be used in worm drive gear cases (for sliding worm gear surfaces). This lubricant is engineered to resist washout from water due to its oiliness and high adhesive strength. Chevron Cylinder oil is designed to exceed the performance requirements of worm gearboxes, brine pump, and other applications requiring a cylinder lubricant.
Formulated from premium base stocks, Cylinder Oil W 680 is built to provide unmatched lubricity in the presence of moisture and steam. The metal wetting characteristics of this oil help to maintain a high film strength on the cylinder walls and pistons of a steam pump.

Formulated to perform the necessary lubrication tasks to satisfy the demands of compressor cylinders and sliding worm gear surfaces, Chevron Cylinder Oil W 680 is an extremely versatile lubricant. This water-resisting oil is able to be implemented in a number of applications that require an emulsifying oil. Chevron Cylinder Oil W 680 has a viscosity index of 99, a flash point of 316°C, and a pour point of -8°C.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
