This Food Grade Propylene Glycol is a handy item to have for various purposes. It is a viscous, oily fluid that is commonly used in many products. This non-toxic propylene glycol comes in a 1L bottle. Safe for drinking, it is not poisonous. Propylene glycol antifreeze is often used as a food preservative, a humectant (to keep foods moist) and a solvent (ink jet printer cleaning). Plus, it's suitable for different refrigerant applications, such as in making ice cream. For applications where you don't want freezing, use no more than a 60 percent by weight solution in distilled water. Water has a high specific heat capacity, so only the appropriate percentage should be use to prevent icing and boiling. Excessive use of non-toxic propylene glycol causes it to lose its ability to retain sudden increases in warmth and often causes system failure, especially in vehicles. (This is the same rule for ethylene glycol as well).

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
