Fitment
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) speed sensors magnetically read the rotational speed of each wheel, which is fed back to the vehicle’s electronic control unit (ECU). When a wheel is starting to lock up and/or skid, the ABS system intervenes to gradually release and re-apply the brake many times per second to help ensure maximum braking efficiency and directional control can be maintained.
- Without ABS, a wheel will automatically lock up in slippery and/or gravel-like conditions, as well as potentially experience a loss of directional control and vehicle stability.
How to replace with new automotive sensor?
Kindly note that:
Like anything else, sensors wear out, corrode, or become dirty. This essentially blinds the computer and triggers the terrible check engine light. You can purchase or prepare a code reader and read your OBD codes, that will help you a lot on installation.
Either way, you should always consult a repair manual before attempting any procedure involving automotive sensors. If you’re servicing a vehicle built before 1996, you'll need a code reader that reads OBD I information. Post 1996, you'll need a code reader capable of OBD II diagnostics.
1) Always wear eye protection and start with installation tools.

ABS speed sensors are located at the wheel hubs of the vehicle. These sensors constantly monitor the rotation of each wheel to evaluate whether the ABS system needs to override manual braking of the vehicle in slippery conditions.
One of the most common indications of a faulty ABS sensor would include the lighting up of the ABS light or the traction control light in the dashboard of the vehicle. If both your ABS Light and brake system light come on, this is an emergency and you need to stop driving right away and check your entire brake system.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
