Spark Plug Function
What is the purpose of a sparkplug and why pick our sparkplugs?
The Spark Plug's primary function is to supply the spark that will cause the gasoline and air mixture in the engine to ignite. Driving the piston and turning the crankshaft to move the vehicle. Spark Plug also serve as a heat exchanger by pulling the heat from the combustion chamber to the engines cooling system. The spark plug tip is defined by its capacity to dissipate heat. Symptoms of a bad spark plug include slow acceleration, poor fuel economy, engine misfiring and difficulty starting your vehicle.
ENA sparkplugs will fixes common ignition system failures such as difficulties starting the engine, misfires, idling, engine jerking, lack of acceleration and hard stalling
Ignition Coil Function
When and why should you replace ignition coils?
Over time due to wear on the vehicle components, the ignition coils tend to break down for many reasons, ranging from low voltage to heat breakdown.
What are some of these symptoms of a possible Ignition Coil/Coil Pack Failure?
1.) A check engine light illuminated on the dash of your vehicle; the most common code for ignition coil misfire is P0351(or check your vehicle's manual for more information) when using an automotive diagnostics tool.
2.) A Hard to start engine could also be a potential symptom of failing ignition coils. If an ignition coil has a malfunction, there could be a loss of spark within the cylinders.
3.) Experiencing issues such as Engine Jerking, Rough Idle, and even Poor Power could be another symptom of a failing Ignition Coil. If you notice hesitation while accelerating or feel a loss of power while driving, it may be a good idea to inspect your ignition coils, spark plugs, and spark plug wires as a possible culprit.
4.) Vehicle stalling is also another possible sign of Ignition Coil failure. Another reason for the vehicle stalling can often occur due to the irregularity of sparks being sent to the spark plugs by the faulty ignition coil. You may even experience a complete vehicle shut off when coming to a stop.
5.) The Fuel Economy will become reduced as a side effect of failing/failed ignition coil. The cylinder may not combust on every cycle leaving fuel unburnt. Over time this can cause a backfire due to the unused fuel in the cylinders causing it to exit through the exhaust pipe and accompanied by unpleasant smells and smoke from your exhaust.
6.) Engine misfiring will be present with symptoms such as the engine making a sputtering/coughing noise. You may also experience jerking/vibration from the engine area while driving at high speeds.
