What is a maf sensor?
MAF SENSOR also known as Mass Air Flow Meter/ Air Flow Sensor/ Air Mass Meter/ Air Mass Sensor. It s the device used in many fuel injected engines to measure the amount of air entering the engine so the onboard computer (ECU) can calculate the correct air/fuel mixture ratio to enter the combustion chambers. Located ahead of the throttle body, after the air filter, the MAF sensor uses a heated wire or filament/film to measure the air flow.
