Instructions: Instructions: (Always wear protective gloves and glasses)1. Find port & remove cap: Check for and repair leaks before recharging. Locate vehicle A/C low-pressure port and remove protective cap. The low-pressure port is located on larger diameter aluminum tubing, between the evaporator and compressor.2. Measure: Start engine, set A/C to max cool and fan on high. Allow to run 3 minutes and check that A/C compressor is running & clutch is engaging. Attach quick-coupler to low-pressure port by pulling up on sleeve and pressing onto port. Note: Coupler will only fit low-pressure port?do not force. Check gauge reading and compare to ambient temp chart. If pressure is below listed Low Side Gauge PSI reading, charge system. Troubleshooting: If compressor does not engage, add half can of this product, wait 3 minutes and check again. If compressor still will not engage, repairs may be necessary.3. Charge: Shake can well. Securely tighten charging hose to can fitting. Attach quick-coupler to low-side port. Depress button to dispense. Hold can upright to charge and rotate between 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock, continually agitating (shaking) can every 2 to 3 seconds. Continue process, frequently releasing button to check system pressure against ambient temp chart, until system is fully charged or can is empty (5?15 minutes). If can feels empty, turn upside down for 1 minute to dispense remaining contents before removing from low-pressure port. Check system pressure. Do not overcharge! If ambient temp is:Low pressure gauge should read:65ºF (18ºC)25?35 psi (172?241 kPa)70ºF (21ºC)35?40 psi (241?276 kPa)75ºF (24ºC)35?45 psi (241?310 kPa)80ºF (27ºC)40?50 psi (276?345 kPa)85ºF (29ºC)45?55 psi (310?379 kPa)90ºF (32ºC)45?55 psi (310?379 kPa)95ºF (35ºC)50?55 psi (345?379 kPa)100ºF (38ºC)50?55 psi (345?379 kPa)105ºF (41ºC)50?55 psi (345?379 kPa)110ºF (43ºC)50?55 psi (345?379 kPa) Note: Pressure reading can only be taken when the compressor is cycled on. To determine this, look at center of compressor's pulley, if rotating, it's on. If it won't engage, add half a can of R-134a. If compressor still won't cycle, seek professional service.
