MAF Sensor also known as Mass Air Flow Meter/ Air Flow Sensor/ Air Mass Meter/ Air Mass Sensor. It s the device used in many fuel injected engines to measure the amount of air entering the engine so the onboard computer (ECU) can calculate the correct air/fuel mixture ratio to enter the combustion chambers. Located ahead of the throttle body, after the air filter, the MAF sensor uses a heated wire or filament/film to measure the air flow.

MAF Sensor Error Code Analysis:
1. P0100 MAF sensor output signal problem. When car have error code P0100 and install new MAF sensor still appear, need check the plug if poor contact or not test by avometer. If contact good, the new sensor out of work.
2. P0102 MAF sensor output signal weak. Usually new MAF sensor output signal lower than normal one, but working for period of time signal become weakness, it means intake system dirty, dust make MAF sensor signal become weak.
3. P0103 MAF sensor voltage full. It means MAF sensor output signal higher (out of work )or install problem (intake system leak).
4. P0104 MAF sensor circuit intermittent fault. Must check plug in contact. Pool contact make engine working unsmooth.
