Product Description
About A/C Compressor
AC compressor is the heart of the car’s air conditioning system. It's a pump which creates the heat by putting the air conditioning refrigerant under extremely high pressure. The AC compressor is called a pump because both increase the pressure on a fluid and both can transport the fluid through a pipe. As gases are compressible, the compressor also reduces the volume of a gas.
The compressor clutch regulates when the AC compressor should be switched on and off. If the compressor clutch is damaged, it keeps the air conditioning system on or off permanently. A defective compressor clutch can be replaced, but it is generally recommended to replace the entire compressor to save time and additional costs.

Replace Your Bad AC Compressor On Time
Usually when a compressor begins to fail it will produce a few warning signs that alert the driver that it has a problem. The compressor is responsible for pressurizing and distributing the refrigerant, so if there is any problem with the compressor, the rest of the AC system will be affected.
Here are some Common Symptoms of Bad AC Compressor:
- Higher Temperatures Than Normal In The Cabin;
- Loud Noise When Compressor Is Running;
- Moisture Leaks;
- Compressor Clutch Is Not Moving;
- Circuit Breaker Tripping;
- Broken Suction Lines;
- Damaged Wire.
