Product Description

The function of the Crankshaft Position Sensor is to determine the position or rotational speed of the crank. While a Camshaft Position Sensor determines the speed of the camshaft. The Engine Control Units uses the information from the Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor to control the ignition and fuel injection timing. A defective Crankshaft or Camshaft Position Sensor can cause your vehicle to have decreased fuel economy, cause issue starting the vehicle, stalling or a check engine light. Therefore the Crankshaft and Camshaft position Sensors play's an important role in the engine performance.
