Advised installing

Be advised when installing it there are two little flanges on the bottom which quite literally "snap" into place when it is properly aligned. If the bolt holes don't line up right you haven't got it installed correctly. Pay attention while you are removing the old one and install is the exact reverse. Good tight seal between the gasket (included) and the tailgate. AND the clips for the rod ends are included with the latch assembly, very happy with this purchase.

Material

Saved a lot of money fixing this yourself with this part rather than taking the truck to the dealer.The material was not the same,but it worked and price was very good.
