The sparkplug wire set also called high tension leads transfer high voltage pulses to ignite the air and fuel mixture for a combustion in the engine. High performance wires can withstand extreme heat and voltages therefore enabling the engine to run at its maximum potential power consistently without dropping performance for long periods of time. 10.5mm thick wires composed of high di-electric insulator and heavy glass braid wrapped heavy duty silicone jackets and high performance black boots that will surely withstand extremely high temperatures and excessive abrasion for a long period of time. Like most vehicle parts, spark plug wires degrade over time causing vehicle performance to decrease and be inefficient. If you are experiencing misfires, hard starting, rough idle, hesitation and poor fuel economy then you may need to replace your spark plug wires.
