What is a locking differential motor?
A locking differential is designed to overcome the chief limitation of a standard open differential. When one of the two wheels is slipping, due to the design structure of the differential, torque is distributed to the slipping wheels, which makes the vehicle lose power and cannot move forward. The differential lock motor can achieve the differential locking, prohibit the differential function, ensure that power can be transmitted to two wheels, and let the car get out of trouble.
Therefore, your differential lock provides a traction control system and is a key component to preventing wheel spin.
What happens if there is no differential lock function?
The diff lock forces all wheels to spin at the same speed, regardless of traction. This is helpful if you encounter difficult terrain and one or more wheels leave the ground, as full power remains on the other wheels ensuring you are still moving in the direction of travel.
If there is no differential lock, when one of the wheels is idling, the other wheel on a good road cannot get torque, and the car loses driving power. Please replace the faulty locking differential to restore the vehicle's performance!!

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
