The CURT Double Lock EZr gooseneck hitch is designed to be faster and easier to install than any other gooseneck hitch on the market. Using our patented Center Locator, it requires no measuring for the trailer ball hole and eliminates any potential errors when drilling. Best of all, the Double Lock EZr is uniquely designed to be installed by just one person.

This gooseneck hitch also offers a flip-and-store gooseneck ball for enhanced security and full use of your truck bed whenever needed.

How is the EZr installed without measuring?


Step 1 Place the Center Locator into the gooseneck hitch ball hole.	Step 2 Bolt the installation brackets and hitch to the vehicle frame.	Step 3 Drill a pilot hole up from under the bed, using the Center Locator.	Step 4 Use the pilot hole to drill down with no measuring required.

How does the EZr operate?


Engage the handle To tow a gooseneck trailer, drop the gooseneck ball into the hole in the truck bed and engage the double locking pins, using the 3/8” thick handle under the wheel well.	Flip the ball over After towing, retract the handle and remove the ball from the hole in the truck bed. Flip the ball over and place it back into the hole to eliminate obstructions for hauling other cargo.	Protect the hitch To protect the ball and the gooseneck center section from rust and the elements, install the included ball hole cover. Replacement covers #66165 are also available.

How to select a gooseneck hitch

There are three ways to set up your pickup truck for gooseneck towing:

A. Use the OEM puck system in the truck bed. Not all trucks have this option.

B. Use installation brackets and a gooseneck head. This is the traditional method.

C. If your truck is already equipped for 5th wheel towing, use the existing base rails.

A. Installing with an OEM puck system

If your Ford, GM, Nissan or Ram truck is equipped with a puck system in the truck bed, a CURT OEM puck system gooseneck kit is the easiest way to equip your vehicle for gooseneck towing.

The components of the kit drop into the pucks with a simple quarter-turn anchoring system, and they can be removed whenever necessary to use the truck bed for hauling other cargo.

B. Installing with vehicle-specific brackets

If your truck does not have a puck system, the traditional installation method is to use brackets and a gooseneck hitch. The hitch and brackets bolt onto the truck frame and are designed to be vehicle-specific for the easiest possible installation.

For a one-person installation, the CURT Double Lock EZr gooseneck hitch is recommended. CURT also offers OEM-style gooseneck hitches for Ford and Ram that install quickly and easily.

C. Installing with existing 5th wheel base rails

If your vehicle is already set up to tow a 5th wheel trailer – that is, if you have permanently installed 5th wheel base rails in the truck bed – CURT has two solutions.

The Spyder 5th wheel rail gooseneck hitch #16085 and bent plate 5th wheel rail gooseneck hitch #16055 easily drop into any industry-standard 5th wheel base rails and provide a 2 5/16” gooseneck ball and 25,000-lb. GTW capacity (limited to lowest-rated towing component).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
