Valve Cover Gaskets Kit
The valve cover gasket is one of the most important gaskets, which prevents the cylinder head hardware from being contaminated by components and prevents oil from escaping. Most valve cover gaskets are made of plastic or cork and are used as a seal between the cylinder head and the valve cover itself.

The engine may be aging due to the long-term use (more than 100,000 kilometers) of the valve cover, which may cause oil leakage. |
2. The crankcase forced ventilation valve is blockedWhen the engine is running at high speed, the pressure and temperature of the engine oil will continue to increase. The engine crankcase needs to be ventilated and cooled to reduce the engine oil pressure. If the crankcase forced ventilation valve is clogged, it directly leads to excessive oil pressure. At this time, the valve cover gasket may leak oil. |
3. Failure of other engine components leads to leakage of valve cover gasketThe aging of the piston ring of the engine leads to a loose seal. When the engine is running at high speed, the phenomenon of cylinder blow-by occurs, which makes the exhaust gas pressure too high. In severe cases, it directly causes damage to the valve cover gasket. In addition, due to the particularly poor oil quality, the carbon deposits cause serious piston adhesion, and the installation of the valve cover gasket is not standardized, resulting in uneven stress, etc. These problems will cause the valve cover gasket to be damaged and leak oil. |
