Brand New Southwest Speed Chrome-Plated Bolt-In Tubular Transmission Crossmember (SWS Part # 400-7085).
- This Southwest Speed Bolt-In tubular Transmission Crossmember is for installing a Powerglide, TH350, TH400, or 700R4 Automatic Transmission in a 1955, 1956, 1957 Chevrolet 150, 210, Delray, Belair, Sedan Delivery, and Nomad.
- Unfortunately, it will not work with any of the Convertible frames that have the X-braced frame, that encases the drive shaft.
- This Crossmember will also work with GM Manual Transmissions including later model Muncie and Saginaw 3 & 4 speed Manual Transmissions and allows the use of Bellhousings that don't have the rear engine mounts on the bottom of the Bellhousing.
- This is extremely helpful when you are trying to install newer model engine and transmission combinations in the 55-57 Chevy.
- This crossmember moves the rear Engine/Transmission mounting location from the bottom of the Bellhousing to the Tail housing on the Transmission and will work with either the stock rubber or Urethane Tail housing mounts to isolate vibrations.
- This isn't a universal fit unit.
- This is a direct bolt-in and also increases exhaust pipe clearance in critical areas.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
